]]> Da ich einige mails auf mein gestriges Posting bekommen habe, schreibe ich hier nochmals auf deutsch, was die Idee hinter I Learned Today ist und wie das Ganze funktioniert.

I Learned Today — Die Idee
Jeder von uns lernt beinahe täglich irgendetwas Neues (Learnings) oder hat eine neue Idee. Wie wäre es nun, all diese Ideen an einem zentralen Punkt zu sammeln und alle (anderen) an den Ideen teilhaben zu lassen? Gut geeignet für das Vorhaben ist Twitter. Hier kann man mit 140 Zeichen Nachrichten hinterlassen, die wiederum entweder alle anderen Twitter-Nutzer oder nur ausgewählte Twitter-Nutzern lesen können.




Wie kann ich mitmachen?
1. Voraussetzung ist ein eigener Twitter-Account, den man sich in einfach in einem Schritt besorgen kann.






2. Jetzt folge (followe) ich dem Twitter-Account von I Learned Today, indem ich darauf klicke und den Button “follow” anklicke. Damit empfange ich alle tweets (das sind die Twitter-Nachrichten) von I Learned Today (ILT). Keine Angt, ILT selbst twittert nur sehr selten: das followen ist lediglich die Voraussetzung für das Mitmachen beim Sammeln der Learnings.






3. Jetzt schreibe in Deinem Twitter-Account das, was Du heute gelernt hast, oder welche Idee Du heute hattest. Am Ende des Textes fügst Du noch ” #ilt ” (ohne die Anführungszeichen) hinzu. Dieser sogenannte hashtag sorgt dafür, dass Dein tweet auf der Website ILT.me erscheint.







4. Fertig. Du machst ab jetzt bei I Learned Today mit, kannst Deine Learnings über Twitter auf ILT.me posten und dort viele neue gelernte Dinge und Ideen aller anderen lesen.

]]> Over this wonderful, relaxing weekend I had the idea of a site full of new ideas and learnings. Imagine everyone who learns something during the day tweets it on twitter, adds the hashtag #ilt and contributes to an aggregation of fantastic new ideas and everyday learnings!

Not being a developer (not even able to develop twitter bots) I had to help myself and find a workaround to implement that idea. Ok — registered a new twitter account ILT (I Learned Today) and the matching URL.

Now — if anyone of you is interested to contribute to that small project — feel free to (open a twitter account,) follow ILT and add your daily learnings followed by the hashtag #ilt. All your tweets will then be aggregated on ilt.me. Would love to read your tweets!
