Wow. Our Datarella Blockchain Architect Rebecca has done a tremendous job! She leads the Datarella team that came up with this first milestone for our Track & Trust project with the European Space Agency ESA: Track & Trust — Synchronizing Blockchain With Satellite Technology
Together with ESA, we want to find out how satellite data can be used to facilitate last-mile tracking of supply chains in remote areas. Often, aid delivery can be tracked until the goods reach an interim storage facility in a destination country.
From there they have to be delivered hundreds or thousands of miles to their final destination, often in remote areas without a functional logistics infrastructure, power, or internet connection. Aid agencies face a tough challenge to track and trace their goods until they have reached the beneficiaries.
Track & Trust — Synchronizing Blockchain With Satellite Technology
Datarella has developed and tested TRACK & TRUST, a fully digitized, secure, reliable, and efficient tracking solution for valuable goods on their supply chain journeys in coöperation with leading aid development agencies and logistics partners.
With the support of satellite data we are envisioning a last-mile Track & Trust service that solves this challenge. This very enticing symbiosis of the foundational blockchain technology and space technology is one of the most fascinating projects we have ever worked on.
